ok since there is only 23 hours left to answer I am giving you my answer I am living proof that they both are true I always since the day I met my hubby thought he was the one for me only I thought I could not have him he was engaged and I didn't know he was in love with me too so I didn't tell him and then when I saw him again 24 years later and he was single (and he took my bearth away even tho he was 40 + years old and bald and I little thicker around the middle) I know I had to have him so I was so happy to find out he was single now and was in love with me too after beening togeather only a month it was so oviouse that we were also soul mates we had everything in common and we could even read each others thouths and knew how the other was feeling etc like one day I grab a glass filled it with water and took it to him and he said how did you know and I said I guess I read your mind! and we have been married now like about 15 months still newly weds and not one argument yet!

also how is it you think that love at first sight could only be lust it could also be chemistry it dose not have to have anything to do with looks I can see a persons personality in them right away I look past there other shell it is all in the way you read a person if you are shall you only see there other shell I look deeper and see the real them I can get a lot of insight just see there facialy expresstion and there eyes it is not about lust it is about there soul but most people are not so intune with seeing the person behind the flesh they only see the flesh but not me I see there (what some would call there ora) I look for the people who have a beautiful soul!

soul mates are the flash in the form of boon given to human race by the almighty.the love potion is yes and no.
when intially once u encounter with a soul mate both the minds float on pleasant environments which is instinctly created by both in different occasions..there is wait,urge,sleepless nights,both the souls are away from all those worldly negative factors,they shower love like an avalanche,few totally surrender to each other,they become a soothing energy to each other away from the world once they get married and enter the material world to fulfill their needs many of them in certain countries forget their first sight sparks,after getting children the scenario takes a dramatic turn.in the form of fights,emotional conflicts,misunderstandings,compulsive ego complexions,and all the hard beliefs are shattered or torn into tumoil with snarls,anger,frustruations and ultimately for a seperation just for some stupid subject which would have been sorted out on the table with compassion and regulated civilised conversation.
The whole universe revolves around this ocean of belief few make it and few do not reach the shore at all!!!!and ultimately vanish in air...

Yes I believe in love at first sight. I have an example.
This is what happened when I met my wife.
I was going through a divorce with my first wife, when a friend talked me into going out with him instead of hibernating in the barracks. We had some great times. One day there was a a live band playing at a local night club, so we went to see what we could see. We sat down at a table near the bar. At a table right off the dance floor, three women sat down and ordered drinks. My friend pointed them out and suggested we go ask them to dance. There were three, like I said, a blond with big boobs, a dark haired woman across from her and a thin brunette with her back to us. I told him alright, but I got the blond. Well we argued for almost a whole song until I finally agreed to let him have the blond. He gets up and asks the blond woman to dance and they head out to the dance floor. I took a drink of courage and walked up to the thin brunette and placed my hand gently on her shoulder. I look down into her eyes and fell into them. I was looking into the eyes of an angel. I could not speak, or tear my eyes away. I was smitten. I was in love. See said' "can I help you?" I shook my head and asked her if she would like to dance. She said yes and we went out on the floor and danced. Then we danced some more and all night long.
I've been falling into those eyes every day for over 30 years.
And yes, she turned out to be my soul mate.

Yes, both of you could not hardly believed that your in soul mates. Love at first sight? No, not a sight could tell you that your in love right away, a very impossible mybe the right words that would say is that "attracted at first sight, not a love "

Soul mates - no. There are about a gazillion people in this world and I think the term 'soul mate' escalated with the internet.
Love at first sight - no. Lust yes. Love, no. Not to say that you won't fall in love with someone you are in lust with eventually :-) Just don't fall for the 'soul mate' crap.

Yes if it is still in the world. some couple are look alike.
The description of such couple are as under.
The mature person when see the lady feel as daughter, the elder ones sees the lady and feel as mother, and this lady is loving to his husband are made for each other
