It's more likely that your goldfish would injure your axolotl (Mexican walking fish). I've kept and bred axolotls in the past, and while they'll eat young/small fish, they would more likely leave larger fish alone.

The problem is that fish (of any size) are fascinated by the axolotl's gills and attempt to eat them (I guess they may look like worms to a fish).

Another consideration is temperature. Both are coldwater animals, but axolotls should have temperatures around 65o or below. Most people keep their goldfish at room temperature, which tends to be a little higher. The increased temperature shortens an axolotl's life from about 15 years to about 2.

The axolotls natural home is a deep lake environment where there's little water movement and poor aeration. A goldfish wouldn't survive in those conditions because they need a high level of dissolved oxygen in their water - but this same amount of aeration tends to make the axolotl's gills shrink.

So all in all, it would be best for both animals if you kept them separately so they each get what they need.

NOTE: You should only keep axolotls together from when they're about 7cm long - otherwise they tend to be canabalistic and eat the feet of their tankmates (fortunately they'll grow back if not eaten too far up the leg).

Never had one, but know that they can be kept with other mexican walking fish, but not with small fish because they will end up as food. So if you godfish are larger than the walking fish you should be good.
