good question. i will always love my parents. however, the good book says a man will leave his mother and father and take a wife and they will become one. meaning the wife is your lover and the one you will spend your life with. so important yes the wife is. however, note you never, ever forget the parents that reared you up. you never leave them in the sense you visit. see they are taking care of. thank you.

If your lover is asking you to choose then she or he is not a good person to begin with. You should not have to chose between your family and the person you are intimate with. Unless your family are really bad people...then that is a different story. But if you were raised with love and support and your family has always been there for you then they will continue to be there for you. Women come and go. So if you have a good family then why can't you keep them in your lives as well as your lover? Why would you have to choose?

I think my choice would be based on why I am having to make a choice. I shouldn't even be asked to make that choice.
