Question

Im stuck on the part were you fight the giant flower.....
i was wondering if i could use a spell book to defeat the flower then give it back

Or if that dose not work what could?

I'm afraid not. Once you buy a spell it is your forever. I think you can put it on the shelf though.

Note that most magic spells aren't worth the rune cost. Cure and the spell that removes status conditions should be the only combat spells you need. Along with escape and teleport, those 4 spells are all that you really need.

I beat the flower after a couple of tries. First, have at least two bottles full of healing potion. Second have several things to eat. (If you have the kitchen, make rice balls for the most economical choice.) It is also VERY important that you put on the Seal prevention ring you can buy in the seed shop, and the poison ring is a good idea too. Also carry at least one seal cure, preferably 2 or more.

Your basic strategy is to rush in, swing a few times, then pull back before the plant counters. OR wait until after an attack, move in and strike. The poison breath attack takes a little bit for the plant to recover from.

When you are running low in health, use the cure spell. If you are out of rune, run to one of the corners and eat a rice ball, that will give you enough rune to cast Cure.

It takes a little bit of luck to beat the plant, unless your level is ridiculous, so keep trying!
