There are four of us at home 2 adults and two children.
I try not to let the cost of meals go over $4.00 per person for supper, $2 to $3 each for lunch and breakfast.
Minimum snacks and one take out a week with movies.
What is this?
Are you in marketing?
Do you like beans?
How many cans of beans would you say you eat in a week?
Do you prefer beans in tomato sauce or molasses?
Do you or anyone else in your family work for Heinz?
When you budget how much do you put aside for beans?
Is this going to turn into a math question, because you know,
I don't do math.

lately it is so very little. been on my special diet. i changed from my gorilla diet of raw fruit and veggies to the american native diet that includes lots of squash and veggies only seasoned with meat. greens, veggies of all kinds. no real sweet fruit except an apple a pear etc. no grapes for sure - pure sugar. some fish (cod, salmon) but that is the most expensive. i found i like the butternut squash more than any other. all i have to do is stick it in the microwave for about 6 to 10 minutes and that is a big meal. it has had a remarkable affect on my weight, water retention, measurements and sugar readings. the biggest differenc is no meat. juust to season greens etc. i am used to it after two months and bp is down, bp is way down etc. the change is so profound i am glad i am getting a check up this weight. i want to get some feedback from the physican. he might know if it has any risks. do you know anything about this subject? about eliminating meat?

My mom does the groceries. My sister & I go to boarding school and we get an allowance part of my late father's will. We are trying to budget ourselves on $5.00 a week. We have a bank account at school, just in case.
But Fran & I figured out that we should be able to manage between the 2 of us on about $25 per month.
So far since school started in late August, we've been able to get by. But it is tight.

my brother and i usally do the shopping for the 4 people in our family.
we spend over 120. but we also shop at a sort of high end grocery store, no like walmart or kroger. and we usally get enough for 2 weeks.
but when i live with my mom and little brother we dont go over 100, and shop at walmart, getting genaric brands on stuff that doesnt matter (like...paper towels and waterbottles) and we make it last about 2...maybe 3 weeks. we also used to buy 2 buy items for the next 2 days to make dinner with so we dont have make a huge shopping trip every week.
hope that helps!

I'm a student/child. It depends how much groceries my mom needs and when she goes. We don't always go grocery every week. i think on average we spend maybe 100 dollars if we are really low on groceries. I a student staying at the university don't grocery shop that often.
