yes, basically any pet with fur can get fleas, like birds, or rats and yes, guinnea pigs and hamsters too.

yes they can. Bathe them with baby soap and then use a flea comb or a lice comb to remove the fleas. Treat the cats and dogs and put baby powder on your carpets. You don't want to use other chemical treatments on the carpet because it can really harm your pets. Leave the powder over night and vacuume in the morning, throw away the vacuume bag.

anything with blood can get some form of parasite, whether it be flease, lice or worms...the fur on cats and dogs is great for fleas to hide in. hamsters and guinea pigs tend to be more prone to lice which get in their fur and cling to the skin as they feed off the animals blood...parasites are horrible and can be hard to get rid of.
if youv got a guinea pig or hamster aswell as a cat or dog around, your guinea pig or hamster is very likely to end up with something tht the dog or cat bring in whether it is fleas or lice and even worms can be transfered between them just by you touching one and then the other.

Yes they can. Especially if you own other pets like cats and dogs that will bring fleas into the house.

Definitely. Hamsters don't seem to have much problem when it comes to fleas, but guinea pigs sure could. I've seen ferrets & rabbits get fleas.....be very careful not to let them!

Hampsters can same with Guinnea pigs, but Chinchillas can not host them since there fur is soo dense, they are also the "odorless pet" and very smart they will respond to their name! then come to you!!!

Technically, but you don't often see it. If they have parasites, it's more usually mites.
