I made my own dress and it was too long.
I went with my step-father cause no one asked me.
I went home after wards and pierced my left ear lobe with a needle ice cube and thread.
What do you think.

I have great memories. I live in the UK, and schools generally don't throw proms here. Each year the students in the last year had tried to throw a prom and had always failed as they hadn't raised enough funds, however the year me and my partner joined, we worked really hard and managed to raise enough to throw the first ever prom. All night everyone was thanking us, which was so cool.

Have more of a funny memory. I laid out in my bikini with straps that come up around my neck. Laid out for too long and got red. Worst part...I totally forgot that my prom dress was strapless. So I had a blue strapless dress with white "straps" from my skin. Looked like an idiot, but can look back now and laugh!

Yes sir!! Staying at the prom for 1/2 hour, then leaving with my boyfriend and my art teacher and spending the rest of the night at a bar and grill by the beach till 4AM.

No. I did not go.
I had a job cooking in a university cafeteria. Loved that job. Didn't want to go to prom. Didn't have a girlfriend (should that have tipped me off on a life-style to come?) and chose to just escape the whole thing and work that night.
Do I regret it? No.

I vaguely remember driving past the banquet hall by coincidence and thinking "hey? Isn't tonight prom night?" Ahh, the memories.

I was Head of the Aggressively Anti-Prom Grrls. We hit the clubs and painted the town red, blue, green and purple. ;)
