I have one coat and four hoodies.
It depends on how often you actually wear the different coats. If you only actually wear two of the five coats - then I'd donate the other three. If you wear all five coats and your two vests then it isn't too much.

I have 4 jackets, 1 long coat, and a bunch of sweaters and sweatshirts.

..hmm...not many. I live by the beach in OC so normally our weather is mild. I have a light jacket, many sweatshirts, a rain coat...a jean jacket...does that count? Today I need a wind jacket.

Easily a dozen - and about 20 scarves. I am a clothes horse!!! Each and every quarter I go through clothing and donated to the Don Bosco Children's Charity drive. (They take adult clothes as well) a great way to keep my closet cleaned out, a great way to give something back and a great tax write off in April!
