A minor is a course of study in a subject that requires about 18 semester hours of subject related courses. That'd be about 6 classes. A major requires between 30 and 60 semester hours of related courses; 10-20 classes.

A bachelor's degree is a degree that requires about 120 semester hours (40 classes) and is done in about 4-years. It's also sometimes called a "4-year degree" even though some people get done in as little as 3 and some people take 6.

A master's degree is an advanced degree done after the bachelor's that requires 1-2 years of additional advanced study in your specialty area. It could be an MA, MS, MBA, MPA, etc...

A doctorate is the terminal degree (there is no higher) in most fields. It includes the PhD, EdD, DBA, DPA, etc... Typically, you can expect to spend 3-7 years after the master's degree working on a doctorate.

Whether you need all three depends on what you want to do. Most law enforcement officers don't have any of these. Supervisors in law enforcement may have a bachelor's degree. Administrators in large departments may have a master's and college professors and researchers will likely have a doctorate. What you need depends on what you want to do.

bachelors is a 4 year degree. you need to get a bachelors beforey ou go on to your masters and doctorate.

if you want to study criminal justice, you can just get your bachelors. BS = bachelor of science (take more science/history/math courses) and BA = bachelor of arts (more writing, english, communications type classes).

a minor means less credits to get the bachelor - you need at least one major, so get a major in criminal justice.
