Human freedom. All of politics is about mankind's battle against human slavery, with the democrats on the side of freedom and the republicans on the side of dictatorship and theocratic managed human slavery. Before the French revolution in 1789, all working people in Europe were slaves that were managed by the christian church for the profits of the aristocracy (theocratic republicans in today's world). The slaves were held and controlled through imposed poverty, ignorance and terror. This is the environment that the republicans strives to re-create today in all of their efforts. Watch them try, do not listen to anything they say, just to what they do or attempt to do. I say 'attempt' because they have been unsuccessful in re-enslaving us since the American revolution, but they continue to try. They have been trying 24/7 for 230 years, losing in their every effort, but they never give up. Losers, forever.

I can only speak for myself - I can not generalize for other Republicans , although I do know freedom and democracy are biggies in a feww things we love and want to keep . I'm afraid of Sharks ; terrorism ; Socialism ; Communism , as well as avalanches and quicksand . Thanks for asking .

This has been an almost 8 year Christmas for them. They have gotten almost everything they wanted. They will thoroughly wear out their welcome even with many die-hard supporters before it is over.
Then the purple monster will put its blue foot forward and people will think it is a different regime.
