You could die young, while you are at your peak and have everything, or live a long life, but you would slowly rot away and lose your mind and everyday capabilities (which happens when we age). So, what would you prefer?

I'm almost 19 & I'd like to live to my 30s...that's it...Why would I want to live to be ancient, you can't do anything, your hooked up to machines, taking 100 pills a day...in my opinion, that's not living...
my great grandma lived to be 90...she had to be on oxygen 24/7, she took two handfulls of pills every morning & every evening...& she broke a hip just sitting up in bed one morning...with her being old it took about 6-8 months for that to heal....I would never want to be that fragile..

I'd prefer to live a long life.
Rot when we grow old? Maybe, but the same happens when you die young, just much quicker and it smells a lot worse. Besides, who gives a [expletive] what legacy you've left behind. When you're dead, you're dead.

I would rather live a long life.....you said it happens when we age anyway....so why not???? I have a wonderful family, so hopefully they will take care of me....I have been very good to them, and I hope as I age and lose my mind (what part I have left), that they will be nice enough to be good to me.......
