- the challenge to meet the final bid when the letter was auctioned on eBay ..like Rush Hudson Limbaugh lll did ?
Don't you agree it is the least they could do - to benefit children of our fallen U.S. Marines & Law Enforcement ? After all - Reid and his band of fraud poison-pens marauding as senators , smeared Rush.based on proven lies...and yet- Rush raised over $$$$ 4Million for a very worthy cause (Over $$ 2 Million of his own money) . They tried to rob a good man of his long standing reputation as a champion of the U.S. Military .
Why haven't these same 41 lying democrat senators who perpetrated fraud on Mr. Limbaugh (not to mention the American public) - BY SLANDERING A PRIVATE CITIZEN - donated to the fund that Rush raised millions for ? Or have they ?

Scumbag Reid had the nerve to criticise Limbaugh for lack of military service when he himself managed to avoid the draft during the Vietnam War.

I am a Democrat and I know some of those individuals who signed that letter.

I think that letter was a big mistake and I have told them so.

I have also encouraged them to match Rush Limbaugh's gift and them some.

I am hoping that they will do so.

We have an enormous opportunity to control the Presidency as well as the House and the Senate if we do not blow that opportunity.

Getting into a fight over an issue like this will not get us any votes that we did not have already, but it could cost us votes.

As despicable a character as Rush Limbaugh is, he was talking about one person who claimed to have killed innocent Iraqi civilians and desecrated Muslim Mosques at the orders of superior officers.

That individual had never been to Iraq, had never served in combat and had been convicted af fraudulently claiming Veteran's benefits that he was not entitled to.

That is the phony soldier that Rush Limbaugh was talking about. When we get into fights over issues like this it damages our own credibility.

There are many true issues that we can go after Rush Limbaugh for. We should not create issues where they do not exist. That only serves to destroy our credibility.

Though I won't buy into your inflamatory methods, I will agree that Harry Reid and company tried to gain Senate approval to try and undermine a citizen's right to free speech.

Also, Rush Limbaugh actually did do a lot of good with putting the letter up for auction and matching the final bid. The total of over $4.2 million will be of great help to the foundation.

And finaly, it was absolutely dispicable for Harry Reid to go back onto the Senate floor and attempt to assign some measure of credit for the huge sum of money that Rush Limbaugh raised.

Yes, Harry Reid is a total disgrace to the country and should resign and walk out of office with his head hung low. He proved himself to be lower than pond scum.

Rush Limbaugh has performed a great charitable work. Now if he would just grow an actual brain then he may turn into a good source of knowledge.

Lying comes easily to Liberals and Democrats (if there is a difference).
Harry Reid's sleazy real estate deals are the extent of his ethics.
I see these Liberals all trying to perpetuate the lie against Rush here tonight, but I have read the transcript of what Rush said and clearly the Liberals are lying. But, that should surprise no one.

No not one penny.
On the other hand Dirty Harry did try to horn in on the glory Friday afternoon and I did hear his speech, once again from the floor of the congress on this subject.
I guess they have completed all their work for this session as they have time to play these silly little boy games.

It is fragile minds like yours that give credibility to this administration and it's mindless followers.
Rush Limbaugh's is a liar, hypocrite, and a parasite. He is everything that is wrong with America today.

"Liberals are only "liberal" with taxpayers money............they have never given much their own money. Also, libs are too busy slandering our troops to ever do something positive for them"

Have you seen what this administration has spent of the taxpayers money?....your great great great grandchildren will be paying this debt off. I don't know any libs that slander the troops. I am a "liberal" and my brother is in Iraq. So before you open your mouth, THINK!!

PS... My brother doesn't agree with the war. does that make him a "Phony Soldier?"

PSS...Point taken, Mike.

No. Why should they? Why would they care what a lying draft evading drug addict like Rush wants.
This is a free country still whether you like it or not.
Why must you impugn the reputations and names of Elected US officials like this?
Do you truly hate America this much?

Hillary will probably make a poor Chinese busboy give up his pay for a month to give it to the cause.

Rush is a drug addict and a liar and a clown. Nothing he says can be taken seriously or believed. He is no hero. When he had a chance to serve his nation he got out of it with a boil on his butt. Then has the guts to say that soldiers who have fought hard and been wounded and died are "phoney" when they tell the truth about what they have seen and been through. He is a disgrace.
