There aren't very many baseball announcers I like. Actually this is going way back but I think Bob Costas was one of the best. He really knew his stuff and made it interesting.
I am a Yankees fan and some of the worst are the ones on the Yankees YES channel. Many Yankees fans listen to the radio broadcast while watching on TV with the television volume down.

I'll put it this way: if I was in the booth with Joe and Tim, with a handgun loaded with two rounds, I'd shoot McCarver twice to be sure, and then go after Buck barehanded.
(Note: I wouldn't really do this. I'd settle for ripping the mic wires out, and then electroshocking both of them, like a taser.)

Well to tell you the truth its a toss up between him, Joe Morgan and Tim McCarver. The three of them on TV is like scratching a blackboard with your fingernails.

i admire the homestead city broadcasters if for no different reason then the actual incontrovertible fact that they be attentive to the gamers on the team and the historic past of the team greater useful. national broadcasters don't be attentive to jack approximately any communities different then the Yankees, crimson Sox. they are additionally plenty greater apt to chat approximately issues I care approximately like minor league gamers that would desire to arise. i'm a Twins fan, and Dick Bremer and Bert Blyleven are probable the two maximum fun anouncers to take heed to in my opinion. the only concern i do in comparison to is they could be very appologetic for the homestead gamers and coaches even while that's glaring that they are undesirable.

Love Buck. Hate McCarver!
Joe's at his best in the Cardinals' broadcast booth. He's out of element when he has to "root" for Boston and the Yankees, like with FOX.

He's garbage. All he ever cares about is talking about Hollywood celebrities. He thinks he's at the E Channel instead of a baseball game.

I would say just about every red blooded American baseball fan cant stand that guy.
He's living off his dad's coattails, and he does a lousy job.
It's a shame he never learned anything form his father.
