You must have posted this late at night...lots of folks read it wrong and answered about what they would want washed UP on their shore....not OFF...
Thank you for the opportunity to imagine having something negative or aversive be gone with a POOF!...but...then...if I had to be stranded on an island....maybe it would be better to stay here and work on getting rid of "that thing" the old fashioned way...with hard work, elbow grease and perseverance...or learning to cope with "that thing" if it is one of those things that I cannot change....
...but to answer your question....I would get rid of my extra pounds of body weight...And why would this matter?...because often, being overweight can make you feel like you are stranded on an island (he, he, he...is that not circular thinking?...and you know how I love those circles)...and that is something that hard work, etc. can change...so I am going to get off here now and go and take my daily walk for exercise to help "wash off" those extra pounds...and get myself off that island....thank you dear...for a true philosophic moment...and all without the cost or angst of a trip to a therapist.....

I wish i would get washed off, why would it matter than I could get rescued, go home to where I belong be with my family and friends. but at the same time I would love to stay on that Island and explore it for a little while before going.

When I read your question, I only had one thought.
My husband. To live out my life without him would be death, worse than starvation. His companionship means more than words can say. I feel very loved and valued by him. He is awsome company too. He is the one thing I would want to wash up on my shore, if I where ever stranded.

Some sign from the almighty God, than even though I am in the Island he will be watching over me, and I guess some food and a Flare, to signal a Boat that I am there. I think that when you find yourself in a predicament, like this one, you feel helpless and would want someone to know where to look for you.

A large, perfect, beautiful seashell. It would look like a present from heaven. I would hold it all the time, take it wherever I go, and if I'm unlucky, I will just die cuddling the shell.
I don't know, it's not like I love shells, but I have a feeling it will mean alot to me when I'm all alone with no company. It's a special feeling that only I can understand . . . maybe.

If i'm surrounded by cannibals or something, i want them washed off. If i'm surrounded by no one, i want my loneliness to be washed off. It would matter for survival. Loneliness too, because with it for years, after time, i would eventually go suicidal for not being able to be with somoene.
If you're talking about a stranded heart, and what you would want washed off of it. I want the pride, BLINDING anger and sadness, and hypocritical qualities, as well as emotions that PERNAMENTLY damage my heart. It would matter because with these qualities, people who can't learn to grow from them, or not be heavily influenced by them would not have a heart, or at least be unable to show one BECAUSE these emotions are covering it. It'd be like surrounding your pillow with a steel case

it's weird how heavily this question shows how infulence people are by the close realationships they have with people, because while you were asking what you would want OFF your shore, people automatically think of what they want ON their shore

Most likely all that make up I saved and pulled ashore with me. It would of only been packed with sand anyways....So I would have to go native all the way and that includes using only the sun, and water I might find to keep my face looking good and smooth, but heck...........what the reason would I care if my ole bag of make up "washed off" the shore. Al la natural---would be the order of the day!!!

a guitar... that still works :) nothing else gets me through the day... just music ... i know for whatever reason i was stranded in the island, God probably had a pretty good plan, dont you think?
so, he'll help me out... & i'll have my guitar to just fall into rhythmic quietude of melodies and see the trees and waves dance along...
