You're comparing apples and oranges. Nash is a scorer, and Thornton is more of a playmaker w/ size...
Nash has shown signs of brilliance but he's no Joe Thornton. Big Joe is better by a wide margin.

Joe because he makes everyone else on the ice with him a better player and a bigger threat. Nash is a great goal scorer, but he doesn't make the rest of his line a threat as much as Joe does.

Of course, it's Joe hands down, but Nash is young and hopefully will get better each season. The CBJ is doing sooo much better under new management.

LOL - LITY if you put those two on the same line could you call it a rush up the ice when they get the puck? Honestly, LITY is right I can't think of a better winger in all of hockey for Joe. Nash is a pure finisher.
