Yes. Without a doubt. Only reason it is not is because it is too hard to tax since people could just grow it at home.

there's a vote coming in november in california to completely legalize marijuana specially quantities. as much as an oz. on your guy or woman, and one plant on your place no remember if for medical or entertainment purposes. in line with probability if it passes then something of the rustic will at last save on with healthful. the concern is going to be the federal government, they're worried if pot is criminal then people will start up pushing for greater durable drugs to be legalized, it relatively is stupid, by way of fact pot shouldn't additionally be seen a drug. it is not addictive, you won't be able to overdose on it, no person has ever died by way of fact of it. the only actual issues that stem from it are those that have been shot over deals or went to reformatory, yet that should stop too if it have been purely made criminal!

The effects of marijuana are long ranging, from loss of brain fuction, specially in the memory section. To a loss of motivation. Marijuana isn't something that needs to be legalized, not to mention the car accident rate you are looking at. Many think it doesn't effect driving, yet statistics show that indeed it does. To compare it to alcohol or cigarettes is unreasonable and ignorant. To validate something already evil you can't compare it to two other evils. These are things that should be out lawed but due to their presence in history and the tradition they have stayed. Alcohol would never be legalized if invented today... So no marijuana shouldn't be legal.

I don't see why not, I think it should be legal to a certain extant as it is in Europe. Pot is bad for you, but so are cigarettes and yet cigarettes are legal. Pot gets you high but alcohol gets you drunk, which is just as bad yet alcohol is legal. Pot should be legal because if people want to smoke pot they should be allowed just like if they wanted to smoke a cigarette or get hammered. How ever there should be laws like minors aren't allowed to and you shouldn't be allowed to drive afterwards and you shouldn't be allowed to grow it your self(for tax reasons).

Yes--for a number of resons (and BTW--I don t use or approve of using pot).
>Contrary to myths, pot is probably the drug least likely to kill anyone, and its widespread use shows that it's negative health effects are limited.
>It is the largest cash crop in the US (no, I'm not kidding), yet alll of this money eneds up in the hands of criminals and none of the billions in tax money it could generate are collected
>given its mild effects, law enforcement resources would be better used combating serious criminal activity
>As long as it is illegal, marijuana functions as an "entrepot" drug. What this means is that it brings new users into contact with the criminal underworld and hard drug abuse culture, facilitating the recruitment of users into trying harder and far more dangerous drugs. There is a lot of emprical evidence that legalizationn severs this social link, leading to a reduction of the number of people who try hard drugs.

Yes, all drugs should be legal so they can be properly regulated and so that people with drug problems can get help without fearing going to jail. There is no reason why marijuana should be treated any differently than cigarettes or alcohol.

Nope, it's been proven so many times that the downfalls would far outweigh the benefits.

No. People are dumb enough as it is without making killing brain cells with pot legal.
