There is this guy, he and I(male) are both Juniors in high school. He and I used to walk down the hall way to lunch every day.. he would put his arm around me and would grab my butt.. He even told me he loved me "jokingly"..
But then a few weeks ago i found out he has a Girlfriend at another school. I kinda feel crushed, i stoped talking to him and now its awkward every time i see him. Im really not sure if i did the right thing, its really bothering me..
Should i just forget about him?

No do not forget about him. He is your friend and you are his. Just because he has a girl friend doesn't necessarily mean that he is straight or gay. You are in junior high school, people change all the time. Keep him as your friend. He might be wondering why you are not talking to him. Find out for sure if he does have a girl friend. Maybe he doesn't care who is gay or straight...What a great world that would be.

I'm hetero and I know that not every woman that smiles at me is interested in me sexually. I sat in a restaurant with a friend, surrounded by cops drinking coffee. My friend and I started talking about the advantages of robbing banks as opposed to convenience stores. It was a hoot. Neither of us robbed anyone, nor really wanted to, but the cops knew that we were teasing--but we also knew fully well, that if we got caught, every last one would testify against us. Still it was a game, played as a game, received as a game, and fun like a game.

Well, does he know that you are gay? Because that would make a big difference to the situation. Cause if a guy grabs another guys butt who he knows is gay, that is a pretty good indication that he is into boys...

no use getting crushed over someone being straight. I bet there are plenty of girls crushing on you too, but, you'll never probably be interested in them right?
Why would it be any different for him?
You can't fault him for not being gay, and you can't turn him gay until you're old enough to buy a case of beer. (kidding about the beer but serious about the rest).

No ur just hurt but remember that coming out is not easy and he has to keep a front maybe for his family or his friends who he knos might not accept him..be patient and talk to him..never let something go without knowing the whole story

all right lad, if u do like him very much then talk to him, maybe there are some other stories behind, u can't meet the people u like(love) everyday. like u described, u probably like him a lot, but don't push it too much, u will get hurt really bad. anyway, even he is joking from the beginning, learn how to let it go, cuz when u grow older....good luck!

He may rely on her to appear straight maybe he can't accept that he is gay. Help him maybe it you help him he will come out.
