Sure the hell did...but tipsy ain't the word for it. More like: Laying flat on back and puking straight up in the air.
I've had good moonshine and bad moonshine. The way to tell which is which is with good moonshine it only takes a day or two to learn how to walk again. I've had bad moonshine keep me crawling for a week.

I've gotten tipsy only twice in my life. And that was two times
too many LOL. For the 'reward' the next day was far from fun.
Oh my aching head. The first time was drinking beer with a
college crowd. In an old apt. house where five boys lived. And
they had a party. I was just starting to date a boy I worked with
who lived there. And I got drunk on only three beers or maybe
it was two. Had I known they had soft drinks, I'd have had that
instead. But I didn't want to look like the baby. I ended up
going to sleep on the couch. And then I was put to bed in
the bedroom where there were three other beds (twins). My
date was very embarrassed, and of course so was I. He
later took me home and that was our last date. Not surprising.
The second and last time I drank heavily, was at a house
party with old friends of my young hubby. And the hostess
mixed our drinks. I could swear I only had two, but I soon found myself outside on the lawn,doing the unthinkable for a
lady. I was sooooooooo sick I wanted to die. I swear she
made me a couple of Mickey Finns, to have gotten that drunk.
That second one really hit me hard. She thought it was very
amusing, and I never got over that. As I felt she did it on pur-
pose. So we were never friends. And that is the last time I
allowed myself to drink more than a couple of weak ones that
I could hardly feel. Now I don't drink except maybe one on
our anniversary. I'm older and wiser now. LOL

Being from the great State of Kentucky, I can tell you straight up that if you have ever tasted Moonshine you will definitely know it. I drank about a cup full and when I finished I drank (2)
16 oz orange soda to kill the taste.

Actually, yes. Did anyone else ever drink "Yellow Drink Great God Almighty"? For the uninitiated, that is moonshine mixed with orange Kool Aid.

Never once,but tipsy on muskidime wine...I added sugar and drank it like kool-aid......
