I would like to get my son a new game system for xmas but am confused as to what we be the best. Preferably it would have a big selection of e rated games.he already has a gamecube.But I am think it would be either an x box or a wii. Anyone parents have any advice?

Actually my son is quite well rounded he is out outside for hours every day and he is also involved in sports.

7-year olds shouldn't be playing video games yet. Keep with the gamecube or give him a gameboy.

Does he have the Leapfrog learning games yet?
Those these are technically educational, they have been set up as interactive games.
Then graduate to Nintendo Wii. with games such as
Bratz , Wii Sports, Carnival games and Game party.

Nintendo Wii. if i were you, i would definitely get my son a wii. i am pretty sure you can use gamecube games on it, too. Don't get him an xbox because they stoped manufacturing the games and controllers and accessories and systems themselves since the 360 came out. Also, the wii is all interactive and is better for your son's health. I have a seven year old son also. i bought him the wii for his birthday. he absolutely loves it. Definitely get him the wii.

I would definitely go with the Nintendo Wii, they always have been more family oriented, and this way you can also enjoy a lot of the games with you child. They have an amazing selection and lots of different ages enjoy the games, so if ever you wanted to hop in with your child you would probably enjoy it!

I would get him a Wii because the Wii is aimed for younger people and it has a lot of children games as well

They have this awsome new game that is proven to help keep your kids healthy and entertained. It called : THE OUTDOORS! Yeah I know it sounds crazy but believe it or not you and I spent the majority of our time outdoors before there were video games. Thats partially the reason for our obesity rates. Merry Christmas

the gamecube sucks, sell that for games on the wii. and 360 games might be a lttle too violent like dead rising or halo3 :) halo 3 isnt as violent tho. if hes fat, i reccomned the wii
