If this is a serious query, and I'm going to treat it as such, then I will ask a question: Do you think you're crazy? If you answer no, yet you do hear voices, then I strongly suggest that you go speak with a professional. If you answer yes, then there is a good possibility that you are suffering from a possible brain tumor or trauma (although only in schizophrenia will entire conversations be held, and visual phenomena are ever rarer). There are also some depression drugs that can cause auditory hallucinations (I've experiences nonsensical noises on both Paxil and Lexipro), but they are usually sounds and not complete voices. Good luck.

I suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder, and I have occasionally heard things in my head. Not orders to do anything, but rather attacks on my person or confusing thoughts.
I know for a fact I suffer from this mental disorder, and that the "voices" if you can call them that are symptomatic of it in many circumstances. However, I am receiving help for this.
If you are truly bothered by these voices, then you should see a psychiatrist as quickly as possible.
If you're just arguing with yourself in your head, that's different. Makes you a little silly, but not off your nut.

Well, the only voices in my head are the ones I imagine, and they don't argue with me. and they don't give me suggestions of things I shouldn't be doing...
I personify my thoughts cuz it gets boring sometimes.
but. if those voices are there of their own will and will not stop arguing with you, then you are at odds with yourself and need to seek a little bit of help. just a bit.
heck, maybe you need to be drunk or on drugs...just kidding.

Yes, always. He is in my head talking to me every day. I am always calm and he never leaves me alone. Apparently I have upset him since I was born. He has been in my head ever since I was a little girl, on and off. I would love to be free from him but he is very persistent everyday. Since December 2013 he has been in my head everyday and in the middle of the night. He also possesses me and tells me what to do. I understand that psychiatrists can t help me because they do not know about this part of life or this way of living. Sometimes he tortures me. I called the police and they drove me to the hospital to seek Mental Health. I have bipolar so I was familiar with the Mental Health team. They gave me a blood test and I know that you cannot detect another human s voice in your own head from a blood test. So, I don t know what to do. I would rather have a relationship with him in person rather than him contacting me in his own way by getting in my head. I know this all sounds crazy but it is real. I am always nice or good to him. My main concern is that he might do this to me for too long for me to work again. All I want to do is be with my family, which I do spend time with them and I would really like to work again. I don t want anything to happen to him (that s his main concern) and I want to be left alone and free in the mind to hear my own thoughts again.

Yea, but I'm going to a doctor in a few days. I never hear people telling me to do stuff, but it does sometimes sound like there is a distant crowd in the background

Debbie, your brain is not functioning properly. If you had a limb or organ doing weird things, you wouldn't think twice about going for help. Seek help right away and take care!
