I've been shopping for an LA Kings jersey, so which jersey do you think looks best? (Price isn't an issue).

1988-1998:

By the way, I already have the gold and purple one... which is why I didn't list it.

The best one in my opinon is the one from there seasons of 1998-2002. Looks the best. I wouldn't go with the 1988-1998 because it is so overdone already.

The one jersey you don't have is the Kings' alternate jersey from the 1995-1996 season, the one with the King's head and funky pattern. Dare to be different (and plus, it would be cooler if you got a Gretzky version)!

The Kings wore gold jerseys with, what Jack Kent Cooke observed as "communicate board Blue," which became certainly crimson, from their inception in 1967 till Wayne Gretzky became a King in 1988. They switched to black and silver, and in 1998 replaced their colorings to black, crimson, and silver. Their residing house jersey is black, they positioned on white on the line, and their 0.33 jersey is crimson. They positioned on the gold jerseys while there's a "classic" night.

I would get the vintage purple and gold that Marcel Dionne wore.

the old black and white Gretzky jerseys are still their best if you ask me. the 98-02 are nice too, if a little busy.

Basically, if you like interesting colors, get the 98-02 one. if you like a simple, clean look, then the 88-98 is for you.

Of the one's you listed, I vote for the 98-02 model.

Personally, I would go vintage (sorry LITY, I hate to call sweaters from your era vintage) with the gold, purple and white.

I'd go with the one from the year they won the Stanley Cup... You'd save some money that way as well.
