My sister is 29 weeks pregnant and a little worried b/c the baby is usually really active but the last few days she has not been moving around as much. Is this normal? She has moved a little bit each day, but not very much and certainly not as much as usual.

I think it is okay as long as there are some movement each day. I've heard the baby has "lazy" days like adults... if concerned call the doctor and get checked- just in case... try to google "baby's movement during pregnancy"

I've had four children and I know for a fact that by the third trimester the baby is a little cramped in the uterus, especially a big baby. You said she. I had two girls and by the third trimester I had to get tested every week because my little girls were so lazy they wouldn't move. I went in when I was 34 weeks because the baby fluttered one day then didn't move for two days. I was terrified. I went in and the doctor checked the babies heart beat, then laughed and pushed on my stomach. The baby stretched both arms up, shook a little, (fluttered) and the doctor told me i had a fat lazy baby on my hands. Both girls were over eight pounds and they slept alot once they were born. So, don't worry about it.

Yes its normal. Just like newborns unborn babies have days where they spend almost all day sleeping and growing. In a couple days they wake up and are much more active than before, working those new muscles and things they were growing.

my baby dose that he/she moves for days on end ,then for a day or two doesn't move much at all, as long as she is feeling some movement i wouldn't worry but if she is really worried tell her to call her doc
