Dodgeball tournament. Anyone who wants to participate forms a team and each person pays about five dollars. And then the teachers also form a team. And there is a boy's bracket and a girl's bracket and a mixed one. And there are random prizes like having the winning teams in the yearbook. It works really well, and it raises money for whatever organization you would like

Reach out to students that are not involved in sports or band, etc. Unite them in a school project, like some of the other suggestions to this question, involve them in a charity drive. Do not worry too much about your spelling at this time, the idiot that mentioned your spelling probably has no idea or has never been involved in a group project, as a matter of fact he/she is a perfect candidate for such a project that I am speaking of. You will find out that once you get the ball rolling the true leaders will run with the project and you will have to step back and let the group take charge. I say to pick people who are not in sports or in the band so that they can get a taste of what it feels to accomplish something positive as a group. Good luck, and God bless.

Usually you can't do too much. Try to plan some great get togethers like dances. Service projects are awesome! when I was class pres we did a fund raiser for a teachers son who had cancer. We raised $13,000. That really brought the school together. Mainly with you as president it is important that you are nice to everybody. It really will make some freshman with no friends day if you say hi to them or better yet learn as many names as possible. My highschool had 2800 students and on the last day I flipped through the yearbook and could name about 60% of them. I called them by name in the hall too. Plus that wil make you a better person.

When I was in high school 10 years ago, they did nothing. So what ever you could get done would be great. Work on a class trip. You would have to find a destination, plan it out, and then raise money for the trip. It would be a lot of work, but many years latter everyone would remember it as one of the best times back in high school.

first of all, learn how to spell, secondly there's nothing you can really do, it's just a title for college applications and such, they don't do anything
