i know it's worth the free base hit
but some of those throws are not even that high
they just lob em in the same area
it would be halarious if somebody just took a step forward and just killed the ball

They can, but they can't leave the batter's box to hit the ball.

It actually happened not too long ago. The pitcher was trying to intentionally walk someone but he didn't get the ball far enough outside, and the batter hit it.

Johnny Bench once stuck out in the world series against Oakland while being supposedly walked intentionally. Bench had 2 strikes already on him and first was open. Oakland manager Dick Williams went to the mound and is pointing to first base during a pitcher's conference. The catcher went back behind the plate and held out his glove as if a wide pitch was coming, then at the last second he squatted down and the pitcher drilled a strike past the surprised Bench.

Yes, batters are allowed to swing away during an intentional walk.

Miguel Cabrera of the Florida Marlins had a walk-off hit on a intentional ball pitch.

Yes they can and some players have hit the ball both for outs and hits.

Um..........no. That would make it no longer a walk, it would be a base hit.
