I don't think time matters so much. Make sure the water and changing room is warm enough. Especially in winter. I usually end up giving my daughter a bath by 5.00 or 6.00. Earlier during winter and can be later in summer cuz of the air temperature. In asian countries they have a mixture of eucalyptus oil and aniseed oil to rub on the baby after a bath. Not only does this moisturize the baby's skin, it warms and give nice smell (minty-licorice smell). But always check with doctor first before you do this or whenever you are not sure of something.
I try not to give her a bath immediately after she wakes up from a nap or sleep, even I get a chill taking a bath immediately after I wake up.

Hmmm, I never gave the babies a bath at night. I would bath them in the morning, after breakfast and a little play. If you are worried that the baby will get a chill or something, bring everything into the bathroom with you (baby bath tub in the big bathtub) that you will need for the baby--the hooded towel, a big dry town for the counter, Huggies, undershirt, clothes and socks--to get her dressed. They naturally shiver and shake a little at that age, but snuggle them up in the towel as soon as you take them out of the tub. You'll do just fine--babies are stronger than we give them credit for and I know you really care so you will do well. It's the love that counts and attention.

I give my daughter (almost 7 months) a bath every evening as part of her bedtime routine. My older daughter goes to bed at 8:30, so I usually bathe the baby at 8:15, after the older one is done getting ready for bed. She hasn't been sick at all so far. As long as you keep her warm after her bath, it should be fine. I always massage my daughter with lotion (which I warm between my hands first), then feed her and put her to bed.

I give my three month old a bath about half an hour before bedtime. I use Johnson's soothing bedtime bath, and it helps him relax. My pediatrician told me that I shouldn't give him a bath every night. So, I give him a bath on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

I have always gave my kids baths a little bit before bedtime. I think that it helps them relax somewhat. My youngest child is now 21 months old and he gets a bath at about 8.

It depends on the baby as far as energizing them. For both of ours, it makes them sleepy.
I give ours a bath at 8:00 each night. Bed at 9:00 pm.

I would give them a bath like 30 min to an hour before bed. Then give them a little massage with some lotion and then rock her and play some soft music. it could be really peaceful and relaxing....
And i would not give her a bath Every nite just when she gets dirty, stinky, or like every other nite
Congratulations!!! i hope all is well

Bathing doesnt cause a child to get sick, neither does being cold. Temperature variance has nothing to do with the function of the immune system, in fact people who are in cold weather and hot tend to be healthier than people who are only in a controlled temperature environment.
Its different with newborns, under 10 days, they do not yet possess the ability to regulate their temperature properly. We do it for them by keeping them warm.
All that said, unless you bathe her in cold virus infested vapors she's not going to get sick from it. At the most her skin will get overly dry from being bathed daily.
Any time is fine to bathe an infant, they dry quite quickly and so will not be uncomfortable from being clothed and wet and trying to sleep.

If your uncomfortable with nightly baths bathe her in the mornings........ and if you just feel that night is the best time, then do it before dark......... say 6 or 7..... or whatever not knowing what your schedule is, it's hard to tell you what time is a good time to bathe your baby...........
