I think that their domination is similar but the way the teams are winning is very different. The Broncos were a running team with an excellent QB. Terrell Davis did kinda end up with 2000 yds that year, but the Patriots are a passing team. The Patriots also have one of the greatest pocket QBs I've ever seen, and evidence shows (because Tom let his backup play for like a series in their last game) that without him they would struggle, but the 98 Broncos won 3 games (maybe more I really dont remember) without Elway

Actually I did think of that last week. They're playing with all the confidence the Broncos did in '98. Plus people were talking about undefeated for them too. People forget, great teams usually do lose in weeks 15-17 while they're resting the banged up players. I see the Pats doing the same thing. But keep in mind, the Broncos actually showed some class and didn't run the score up like the Pats.

I have to disagree. The '98 Broncos knew how to pound it on the ground. The Patriots are all about passing. Both teams are/were extremely good, but they look very different.

i don't believe they are any thing like the 98 broncos. they would put a wippin' on the broncos, in my opinion. I'm not a huge patriots fan but the facts speak louder than opinions. Tom Brady will be the greatest QB of all time when he retires. This bothers me being a long time Joe Montana fan and current Peyton Manning fan. John Elway got the benefit of winning a superbowl before retiring due to an exceptional running game. Not that I don't think that Elway was a good QB I just believe Brady is alot better. Also the patriots are winning by Tom's arm and not much of a running game.

They look a lot like the '98 Broncos only the '98 Broncos were better and more well rounded because they had a killer run game AND a killer pass game. Dang I miss those days!

GO BRONCOS!!!

Somebody has to tell the Pats that it shouldn't be this easy in the NFL. I don't care if you are a colts fan, you gotta respect the way this team is dominating on a weekly basis. Most NFL teams have at leasone team that they just can't seem to beat no matter how good they are. I thought that team might be the Cowboys, but damn they put the boot down on them like any other team. If they can continue to move the ball and not turn it over they will finish strong and I would be lying if I said they would not make the big game this year

Not even close. That Bronco team was well-rounded. They could have lost Davis and still rode Elways arm, and vice versa whereas the current Pats team is a Brady injury away from a 7-9 season.

I CAN SEE SOME SIMILAR THINGS BOTH TEAMS HAVE HALL OF FAME QB'S GOOD DEFENCE, GREAT COACHES, THE BRONCOS HAD A WAY BETTER RB IN TERREL DAVIS AND TIGHT END IN SHANNON SHARP. THE BRONCOS WON THE SUPERBOWL AND SO WILL THA PATS GOOD LUCK TO DENVER

Yeah they're similar in some ways. Neither is considered the greatest team ever, nor will they ever be, but they're both up there.
