My husband has a daughter from his 1st marriage. He goes to see her every other weekend. He picks her up (270 miles from our home) and takes her to stay at his mother*s house. Last year when she was 11 years old she asked if she could take a friend with her. When the 3 of them drove up to his mom*s house there were 2 boys waiting for them. My husband spent no time with his daughter that weekend they were at the park with these two guys, they sneaked out of the house at 1:00 a.m. to see them, they lied the whole weekend. they asked to be dropped off at the mall and they met guys there...my husband was not very happy. We talked about and decided that it was not a good idea for him to take his daughter*s friend with them again...that was last year....she asked him Friday if her friend could come down and I reminded him that we had decided not to do this again. I called to see how things were going and guess what!!! The girl was there with them! I am LIVID! Wouldn*t you be?

Yes..I would be upset too. It sounds like he needs to be a better father by buckling down the rules.

well it dosent matter if it is a small town or large city those things happen everywhere. I think he should stay right with both the girls and make them sleep in a room i could hear what they are doing. But i have 2 stepkids and my say dosent matter in the end because it is his choice what is best!

you could be, but the truth is, it's his kid. so when she comes home pregnant by some 26yr old man and he's asking you what to do, tell him why so you can move them all in.

Regardless of who's with your stepdaughter, it sounds like there's some adult supervision lacking when she's at her grandma's house.
