The scams on that show are an exaggeration. The idea is to get across the message that you shouldn't trust anyone on face value, and that if somebody tries to give you money for nothing its going to cost you.

I was thinking the same thing whilst watching it that it gives people ideas lol but some of them require allot of work so it's a bit long for me to bother (not that I'd do scams) & a few of them I think are a risk factor of getting caught out by someone.

I can understand what you mean, because although the show is said to be guiding you ways out of being conned it is also showing potential ways of what you can get from people,I do like the show, but I remember answering and question on this site before which explained that parts of the show was setup or some of the people were 'actors' and to be honest with you Iam not surprised.

I'm with you on this. Always said to the Old Man....this gives people ideas - work at a Crown Court and have seen so many scams it's untrue !!!

Still watch it every week though. Being the Cynical ***** I am though - it actually does more harm than good !!!

It's TV and obviously the truth is twisted and edited for entertainment value. I know for a fact that the coat and bag scam when he pretended to be the manager and collected everybody's belongings and took them to a fake locker room was properly staged with actors acting as diners.

You have only got to look at the camera angles and lighting and put two and two together for yourself.

How do you be attentive to? have been you between the actors? even in spite of the fact that if that's faked that's a very exciting practice to observe. I enjoyed the pretend cloakroom scene , everyone remains so guillable, they simply renounce all their possessions: coats, baggage, without question, they need to get scammed!

That programme is laughable....now we're gonna teach you how to scam your friends to get drinks...ohhh nice friend you are then!!! I watch it every wednesday after Heroes to see what their gonna come up with and what sort of people their gonna swindle....I'd never agree to let me be shown if I'd been scammed out of my bank details to buy a new cook book like a complete spanner haha!

I love the program but I bet they have to shoot some of the cons more than once.
I would love to see some of the outtakes where they go wrong.

This is what TV is all about...To lead people astray. Why do you think our children are the way they are today?
