Are there really any good reasons to have both a land line and cell phone?

I have both.. I have the land line for internet use and because my cell doesnt have really good service.
Between my cell, my sons cell, my hubbys cell, and the land line, we pay approx $350. a month. I think that is kinda ridiculous, hubby doesnt think so. I guess cause he pays the bill (i dont work). He wont give up the cells cause I travel with 4 kids all the time, (son has med prob and carries his to school) and hubby drives over the road.

Because you can use the land line phone during the day and use your cell phone when out and after your time that you are allowed for free minutes <3

Yep, I need a land line for my security system.
So I got rid of my cell phone.
So I guess the real answer would be a no.
I don't need a cell phone.

Yes if you want to have internet service for Yahoo.The cell phone comes in handy when you need to get in touch with someone for a ride home .

I like a land line for most of my use cuz it's cheaper but I'd like to have a prepay for the car. It's good for emergencies.

I believe so. Landline phones are nice for localized calling while cellular make travelling convientent. Landline phones that are wired are more secure for communication as well.

yes, u could lose ur cell phone, not a lan line.

not for me there isn't. I have just a cell and have it with me all the time

I only use my cell phone when I am driving somewhere. It is for emergencies only. Otherwise, I hate it. : )
