instant...lately they've been doing this alot. sometimes the water gets on the wall..... is there a reason for this?

lately they've been doing it just to get oxygen and when the food is floating....is there anything wrong?

i had a clown fish do that. i don't know why, but i suggest you keep the water level kinda low cause my clown fish did it too fast one time and he popped outta the watter and hit the lid of the tank and he swam cooked ever since and then he died. keep the water level low enough that yours don't do that.

One of our gourami does this a lot too. I suppose he's just playing or exercising. They can manage to get out of really small spaces, so we've put foil around over the tank top where there are any gaps.

Yea many kinds do it. I think it is like a spasm, just make sure the lid is on and there are no gaps.

theyre hungry and are going for the food is there an oscar there they always do that
