In simple terms, not all Turks hate Kurds. They just don't like the radicals which try to pose harm to the country. There are civilized Kurds living within Turkey that are harmless, and the Turks get along with them very well. There are even singers/actors/actress' who are Kurds living and working in Turkey. So to say that Turks hate the Kurds is a bit too broad.

It's the other way around. For centuries, the Kurds were Turks and their background is Turkoman. They were often refered to as mountain Turks. The Turks do not hate them as they are considered one of their own but they do hate the radicals among them wishing to sever off a quarter of Turkey and using terrorism to achieve this end. The majority Turks living in southeast Turkey would probably have to move too. In US terms, if Mexico was supporting terrorists in the southwest USA where the majority consider themselves Americans, would not Americans be upset and wish to invade? Would we not be demanding that the Mexican government crack down on these terrorists? Did we not actually do that in 1916?

Turks hate Kurds for two reasons: Kurds are mostly light skinned and have more Caucasian blood in them and they are usually Christian. Turks could give a fig about being PC.

ive been watching the news lately
and some turkish soldiers were killed.
and it all has to do with the PKK and all that.

i think its got to do a lot with history, they've always had problems and im sure the reasons go back a long time
