to pick someone who gave you a star,over one of the other answers?

I don't look to see who stared until I pick the "best" answer.

I read all the answers first. Narrow it down. If it is too close for comfort I usually will chose the one who starred me out of common courtesy. The star was given as a point of thought, it cost them nothing, they didn't have to do it. The other chose not to. Point in case. Once again, honesty is always the best policy.

I only use the Stars if and thumbs up if I have more than one really good answer and I need help trying to decide on the Best Answer!! Sometimes I'll get 3-4 really good answers on some of my more serious answers and it gets a little difficult trying to decide!!

Not at all....I go by how I react to an answer....I try not to see whose answer it is, but sometimes I can't help it.....
