When someone makes you angry, how do you not RE-ACT and go off on that person?
i seriously would like to know!

this is someone i love dearly (a relative); but, I DON'T LIKE some of their ways!

with great difficulty i tend to have a short fuse and a few years ago i literally did explode it caused a small stroke and its not worth it

I know it can be hard at times, but the best thing to do is not to say anything at all. You may have to simply walk away. Count to 10. Say, a prayer. Do whatever you have to do. Including, working out at the Gym, explode all your frustrations there.

think that there is some-one out there in your world thinks the same way towards you as you feel about this person and how you would feel if that person went off on you. the best way to resolve this is to inform the person, in a nice way, that their behavior is troubling you. if you are both people with reasonable minds and can draw the line between being pixxed off and not being pixxed on then you may have good grounds for a working relationship.

make a joke of it. :) i have a tendency to explode too, but that's the only thing that really seems to work.
