well they're both 5-3 and they gotta be at least .500 and i see illinois having no trouble at doing that and more cuz they'll beat ball state and minnesota putting them at 7-3 and even if they lose against osu and northwestern they still finish 7-5 which would put them in a bowl game.. northwestern will have trouble with purdue and illinois left on their schedule but should beat iowa and probably indiana as well so both will probably make bowl games but illinois for sure will

The illini are probably a shoe in, NW would need to win a big game. Not sure who they have left, they already lost to OSU and Michigan.
