Yeah. The Malibu Kashan Castle and the Malibu Presbyterian Church were burned down. The Castle was in escrow for 17 million. And celebrities had to be evacuated from their homes. The media absolutely loves to report that kind of news.

I don't actually own a tv, but yes I was aware of it through checking the news online. I hope they extinguish it soon. Those houses look amazing...it would be a pity to lose them to a fire. Hopefully all the residents are somewhere safe already?

Yup. I knew that. But there's always fires in CA. In the summer in the hills north of L.A., in the fall in forest regions, any time except winter, unless it's a dry winter. Every few months, there's fires in CA.

It started last night in Malibu Canyon, probably due to a downed power line, so far as of this writting, there is now one confirmed death and over 1,000 acres burned, Pepperdine University has been evacuated.
