You can always sue anyone, but would it be successful? I doubt that you have a case against this company concerning your employment because you committed fraud by lying on your application. As far as how they operate or treat their customers, that's another matter. Rembember that any complaint you put in that doesn't directly involve you, would only be seen as sour grapes. Also, be very careful what you say and how you say it because you could be liable yourself if you make accusations of swindling, etc. and can't clearly prove it. Good luck!!

You started with a lie. Which is not good. But I do understand you wanting to work, and not being able to at a
young age.
Now you have joined the working world. Later you will have to make a real living. I do not think you are off to the right
start. After all did you not say that you loved to work in electronics. You got what you wanted.
If you are going to think this way, You might want to go back to school and be a Lawyer and try suing all the jobs and people in your life that give you a hand up.
No offence but you are not off to a good start. I would be happy they gave me a job, So I could buy those sneakers in the window. You are young. There are much bigger things in life to worry about wrong doing.in the work place.
Make peace or quit. Be glad you can choose and you have your whole like ahead of you.
Your only young once enjoy it.

You can try, but I honestly doubt you will see any success. First of all, do you have money to hire a lawyer and pay the court and documentation fees? This can add up to well over $5,000 and if you end up not winning the case, yes, you are stuck with the bill. Second, the fact that you lied on your application was illegal in that misrepresentation of age in the case of employment in most jurisdictions is an act of Fraud. You are lucky that charges were not pressed against you and if you do file lawsuit, the fact that you were hired under false pretenses will more than likely hold more weight with a jury.

You're the one who lied about your age. Your boss did wrong by saying to keep working until it's sorted out, but you really don't have much of a case for suing. You can report the company the the labor board, but you'll get fired.

You can sue anyone you want to, but you will NOT win on this one. YOU were clearly in the wrong in the first place by LYING. LIARS rarely, if ever, gain FAVOR because they are LIARS - courts have a hard time believing people who do not tell the truth.

Doubt it, you lied about your age, i'm sure if you tried to sue, you'd get shot down and could be sued yourself. You lied to a company about your age which is illegal, they could get ya pretty good for that. Your allowed yourself to work those hours to wilfully, as said, you could report them, but you'd be fired in a heart beat and the company wouldn't have nice things to say about you when contacted by someone you turned in an app. too. "Ya he lied about his age, tried to sue", that won't get ya hired anywhere

Gotta love some of the products of this great country! :-)
How appropriate to post this under Law/Ethics category.... something tells me this kid is going to confront both of these at some later point in life. Let's hope "electronics" won't have to be involved with that end result.

you could, yet i could think of heavily approximately such an action. First, wrongful termination would be very confusing to teach, especially in case you signed an "at will" settlement, that's difficulty-loose those days. no one does their activity completely, and it relatively is not difficult for employers to locate a criminal clarification for letting you flow. 2nd, one in each of those challenge could be relatively extreme priced to you. in spite of if your case became into uncomplicated, you may could, a minimum of initially, shell out 1000's of greenbacks in criminal expenditures out of your guy or woman pocket, and god forbid in case you lost you may nonetheless be jobless and then be saddled with all that debt. 0.33, in spite of in case you gained your case, and the corporation became into forced to take you lower back, do no longer you think of your mere presence there could reason a extensive volume of resentment? as quickly as you went lower back to paintings, you would be watched like a hawk, in all danger in an ecosystem that must be depressing for you, any little mistake you made could be pounced on, and it in all danger would not be too long till now they got here across a valid reason to do away with you. So, except there are very good concepts in touch right here, or except the corporation is obviously doing something unlawful, it relatively is in all danger on your greater useful activity to purely enable this flow and detect a greater useful, greater friendly place to paintings.
