From personal experience, they're usually not that strict. If you're going with someone who is over 16, they'll most likely let you in. If you look older than 16, then sometimes they might not even check your I.D.
I'm 15 too, but I look older, and I've gone to six 16+ shows, and there's only been one time where I've been asked to show my I.D. and I just told them I forgot it at home, and they let me in anyway. But really, it depends on the band and the venue, and how strict they are. There's only really 2 good venues in my city, and both of them are pretty loose.
Your best bet is to go with someone older, at least 16, but if they're over 18, then you'll definitely be fine. Or if you're going alone, just do whatever you can to look older, and although it's not exactly the smartest thing to do, borrow an I.D for backup. If you have an older sister, or an older friend who just has the same hair color and skin tone (they don't even have to really look like you), use theirs. This is just a last resort however. Never use a fake I.D. It's totally not worth it.
