Do you believe there is global warming and if so, do you believe the earth's warming naturally or man-made?

All opinions will be respected and everyone else please refrain from thumbing down others ideas. I just had an interesting debate with my husband about this and I wanted to extend it to the Y/A family to see what everyone else thinks about this timely topic.

There is currently a warming trend in the temperature on earth. Seeing as the climate goes in cycles, this is a natural occurrence! I remember the first "earth day" when all the chicken little the sky is falling types were in a huge panic about the "coming ice age" due to a temperature drop of about the same magnitude as the temperature rise now!

I do not believe that this is man made. I am not a believer in the current "environmental movement". It seems to me that the environmental movement has been taken over by socialist types who, rather than looking for ways to constructively solve problems, want to instead limit personal freedom!

I will make this answer short in order to express an array of ideas in a short paragraph.

There is minor man-made global warming, yes. It's is the result of more energy being used in transport as the 'end of the road' for all energy is heat. The more energy ending life the more heat expended. This is a law.

However, the amount of energy being expended by humans compared to the natural amount of energy being expended by the earth is not a great percentage. The amount of carbon being expended by humans is a sliver of a percent compared to the carbon held deep within the oceans. I mean a very small sliver.

There are 3 variations of earth rotation.
Wobble - 20k years
Eccentricity - 100k years
Axial Tilt - 40k years

When the three cycles converge there's a period of extreme climate change, when they diverge there's a more average climate.


The problem with man made pollution actually is bio-diversity. If man destroys too many species the change into the next climate extreme will give less species less chance of adapting leading to a higher chance of mass extinction.

Global warming seems to be a man-made thing.Carbon dioxide is an important greenhouse gas which absorbs the IR radiation.It contributes about 12 percent to the greenhouse effect.It is estimated that the mean global temperature would have been about 33 degrees(celcius) less than what it is today if the greenhouse effect is not there.
Now it is a known fact that the amount of carbon dioxide in slowly increasing in the atmosphere.Cities make a heavy contribution to some of the greenhouse gases which are considered responsible for global warming.An estimate shows that a city of one million people generates 25000 tons of carbon dioxide every day.
Moreover the population of the world is increasing alarmingly.The amount of carbon dioxide released by human beings while breathing also increases.At the same time the intake of carbon dioxide by the trees and plants(they require CO2 for their food preparation) is reduced as the forest area is diminishing (as we are destroying the forests).The net result is the increase in the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which will definitely contribute to the global warming.So it a man-made only and not a naturally occuring phenomena.

There is indeed Global Warming and it is caused by us humans using stuff we shouldn't be. Burning stuff, like wood, trash, causes smoke, that smoke is causing the air we breath to become CO2, also those fires burning are causing the same thing. The vehicles we ride daily, that are not tuned properly cause polution. That smoke belching out of chimneys from the factores are causing CO2 as well, cutting down trees reduces the ability of the air to become oxygen, since trees breath in CO2 and give off oxygen.

well of course all that heat from cars , furnace, fires,radiators, have to go somewhere up in the air but that's the way of life.
that had happend in the 1980's when the temp was 10-15 degrees higher then normal.so it's usuall and wouldn't worry much about it .
the media play a big roles espacially here in the usa , i heard a news about the media saying that do weathermotologist
give higher temp on the weekened cause most peoples are off on the weekend .
other debate was on cnn saying "is the media trying to make us focus on something else such as global warming , heath, and make us worry about disease so we could forget about the war .
now as american one simple question "is why did we go to war with iraq ?if the president can answer that right then i'll belive in democracy in the usa.( mass distruction wasn't there and even if there was then russia china have it too . so come one poeples it's comment sence.

do u know that bush'daughters got caughty with having a fake license drinking underage driving without a license and sex exposing in public and did get put on probabtion , and only got charge for 25 dollars fines for all that .and the officer got fired for just doing the right thing .i mean i just didn't had my license one times one me and a week later the state suspended it then got caught driving , now i'am on probation
black box, have to take driving classes, driving lessons, responsibility classes, have to get tested every week for drugs and id i don't even drink or smoke, all that for 18 months anbd have to get tested for mentals problems
plus the court fees and all those classes was 3000 dollars and a 1000 dollars for not having insurance that the police wrote down but the car was insured that times , i showed that to the judge he said ' it don't look real" now to make it more like a democracy i told the judge " **** you loud and clear and i'am really proud of what i'am saying , ******* demecrate"
and the judge look at me from the top of his glasses and said " i'am going to extend ur probation for 3 more months"
now that's what we call democrate my *** .
next time i'am going to court i'am telling the judge why u didn't charge me for 25 dollars like jena bush did .
so my point is there is no global warning it happen like every century or 2 .
hope u get my points of what i'am talking about , and yes there is heat in the air but that's only 2% so far .
d o u guys know that they are watching everything what happen in everyhousethru our tv's, cause it's liek ur eyes when u see a pic ur brain would see it upside down , so it's same like the tv it's a reflective screnn that's why when we talk front of the tv we could see our selfs , and the cables is a reversible signal so it send signal back .
