You can not control anyone or anything. You should not want to control anyone. And you should understand for your own well being, you can control any type of situation. Trying to control those things will cause you alot of stress, and alot of stress to the ones you love.
God Grant me the Serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
This is a prayer you learn in ACOA. Most of us come from environments that are hectic and as adults we tend to want to be controlling of people and of situations. We want to do this so we don't get hurt. But it only ends up hurting the ones we love. People want to be controlling from past hurt. Hope this helps.

Well, no one should control you unless perhaps it is forced labor or somethinig like that. . . . Otherwise, not even God should control you, he gave you the free will to Do what you please. Obviously, you still would have to obey certain people, but they do not control you!
