My first pet that I can remember? Or my first pet that my parents didn't give me?
I remember a dog named Penny. I think she was a sheltie. I had a chicken named Charlie, that I rescued when my aunt's electricity went out, and the brooder quit providing warmth for the chicks.
Then, there are the cats, kittens, puppies and what not that "followed" me home.

I had a little bull dog named Judy when I was growing up. Someone poisoned her and her mom and I cried for two weeks. I would never let another pet into my heart until three years ago and my daughter got a little Jack Russell named Barkley. Now we have a little Min Pin named Charcoal and I love him dearly.

My first pet was a cat, I am sure.
Though, when I was really little, my brother had a Norwegian Elkhound. He would make me feed her, so I would go out to get her dish, which she ALWAYS put under a tree root, so it was hard to get out, and she would jump on me.
I still wonder why I always agreed to feed her, knowing it was HIS dog and knowing the pain and agony she would put me through.
Her name was Chewy. I think now, that I am taller, we would get along better.

My first pet was a cat that went by the name of bandit. My cruel father never said what happened to him. I think he is a psycho and got rid of him.

my first pet was this white and grey rabbit that i so affectionately named Fluffy. I got him when i was about 6, and he lived until i was like 13. He was a huge, spoiled rabbit that thought he was a dog.

A rabbit. She was white with some brown markings. Named her Fluffy. Got her when I was in 2nd grade.

when i was 8 months old we had to get rid of our Dalmatian, her name was Lucy, and ever since then i have refused to let a pet go unless necessary.
