I am wondering if it is safe to have sex in the water. Would water entering the female or male in that area be harmful in any way. This is mainly a question directed to doctors.

no oh god
not only does it hurt (REALLY BAD),
but later you will most likely
get an infection !
Also whenever you pee
it will burn and it will hurt so bad
(oh yeah, and the pee's will be
really long)

By water, do you mean in the shower? Yes, it's safe there but only if you're trying to get pregnant. I don't see any doctors on this site but of you mean in the lake, ocean, creek, or pond, I have to warn you that those places breed harmful bacteria.

Yes its safe as long as the water isn't polluted. Which in any case would still effect you then. The female can still get pregnant this way also.

It depends on how clean the water is. A female could get a yeast infection.

not a Dr. but done it before, & I'm alive, had no problems with it.
