Sometimes this is normal. But to be on the safe side, if she does not have her period in Oct., she needs to see a doctor.
On the other hand, is she worried because she has been with a boy sexually and is afraid she might be pregnant? Buy two pregnant kits and test two times one day apart to make sure.
A grand mother who lives in our neighbourhood told us her 13 year old grand daughter is pregnant. So girls, be very very careful and safe.

if she is sexualy active , yes be worried. at the beginning of when you start the body needs to adjust to you being a woman. if it has not happened sents august then go to a gyn clinic to get checked out. there could be nothing wrong. be sure by going to the doc.

Yes, it's very normal for periods to be spotty and sporadic when first starting out. I know a few women who never had regular periods until after they were married and had children! So don't worry about her, she's fine. :-)

it may be a problem, if she is too thin then she might not get her period for a while longer, but to go almost 2 months is just fine. if she doesnt get it in another couple if months, or weeks you can always go to a gynecologist.

if this is your sisters first period, then don't worry about it. i got my period last year, and i still am not regular. and probably the easiest thing to do would be to talk to your mom about it. she knows more than you think.

If that was her very "first" period, then it may just be her body, adapting. It really wouldn't hurt if she was to see the doctor.

That's normal, she shouldn't be concerned.
When girls first get their period it's usually abnormal.
