can i be pregnant if i spot then come on a period ?

If you bleed when you're pregnant then it's not called a period. You can only have a menstrual period if you are ovulating (i.e. not pregnant).

Some women have bleeding throughout pregnancy, related to different things. Always mention it to your doctor, just to be on the safe side.

Women can spot or have their period well after being pregnent. Spotting or blood can also be a sign of trouble if you are pregnant. The best thing to do is get a EPT or make an appointment to visit you physician.

Absolutely. Take a test or see your doc. AND start taking vitamins with folic acid and iron NOW. Spotting is not uncommon, particularly at beginning or end. Having periods while pregnant is more unusual, but not unheard of.

Usually, if you have a period, it means you aren't pregnant. Rarely, women do bleed heavily, similar to a period when they are pregnant, but like I said, it's rare. If you're worried, take a pregnancy test.

And FYI, if you have bleeding during your pregnancy, it is NOT a "period". It is bleeding that RESEMBLES a period. It is impossible to menstruate while pregnant. And, to reinforce what I said earlier, RARELY will SOME women have heavy bleeding SIMILAR to a period during pregnancy. :)

There are some women that can menstruate and be pregnant. If you're really unsure go see your doctor and get a pregnancy test done so you won't stress yourself worrying if you are.

first answer is wrong there are women who have there periods throughout pregnancy all you can do is get a test
