Since the mid 70's all fuel is unleaded. The only difference now between regular and supreme is that supreme has a higher octane rating, which means that it is a better fuel. It won't hurt a thing to run it in your car. In fact, if your car pings of knocks with regular grade fuel, you should be running supreme in it anyway.

Nothing. You just waste money. Premium fuel is unleaded too. Premium is used because it has additives which prevent "pre-ignition" in high performance cars. That is all it does. Unless you have a high performance car, premium will not make any difference. (Pre-ignition is caused by pre combustion caused by high combustion (read as: "high pressure combustion"), causing the fuel to ignite. The gasoline ignites because it's under high pressure. The additives in premium prevent this from happening.

Only cars which have high combustion pressure will pre-ignite. And only high performance cars will produce a high combustion pressure). Use whatever the car manual says. If it says premium, then use premium. If it says regular, then use regular. Using premium in a car that only needs regular is a total waste of money. PERIOD!

Nothing really. The fuels are compatible, but you may notice a difference in performance. The computer and knock sensor will adjust for the difference in octane usage. For best results, go by what your owners manual recommends. If the manual says lower octane can be used, with out harm, go for it and save on the price difference between the octane ratings.

There are spme that swear that a tank of premium every so often makes their car run better. The bottom line is that if your car dosen't require premium, then why spend the extra $ on it. Unless you drive a high-end sports car, (that requires premium) your engine will not see any benefit.
