To come to think of it, of recent times there are no more funny movies.Perhaps comedies but you no more get slap stick humour.( Laurel and Hardy)These days humour surrounds dropping clothes or splashing food on the face of another person.
If you want a happy movie then the Herbie series is a safe pick( the car about the Beetle)
