They stuck together on their "plan" to defeat the "mother country." There was "no rebellion" here in the colonies and thus, we who were the "remaining" natives, were successful.
This would have been so wonderful, if we could have held that "ethic" alive.

They began killing British soldiers, and sought help from other countries such as France and Spain. Even though I am glad we won, I appreciate the British friendship today.
