I am mostly wondering if this is illegal. And also, I don't need this $ by any certain date... it is just for 3 expensive instruments I really want, and cannot afford... (about 20,000$ each)... It can take a decade for all it matters..... sooner is just better...

If you don't have permission from the copyright owner you can't give away or sell copyrighted material. If you're the copyright owner (which if you create the material in the first place and don't sign your rights over you will be) then you can do what you like with it.

Whether you'd get any money out of it is another matter entirely.

Making a web site for free is easy, you just need to learn HTML or get a program that can handle it for you although some things require more advanced skill. There is also the matter of hosting the web site and unless you want to put up with having ads on it (and maybe even signing away your copyright on the site to someone else) you'll be paying for that.

$62k from an internet retail site like you are suggesting takes a lot of investment of time & money. Internet businesses are expensive to acquire customers unless you are in a super-niche market. Jewelry vendors are all over the web. And music is dominated by a few vendors. What about selling your jewelry at local fairs where people visit?

What you want to do is not illegal, but will take a fair amount of work.

Good luck to you.
