Here's exactly how the Socialized medicine fiasco will turn out:
1) The loony Left will somehow convince a gullible public that the government must protect them from greedy private medicine.
2) There will be a short-lived euphoria as the press prints only glowing reports about how everyone is happy and healthy.
3) Then.... the truth will start creeping into the news. Terrible, dirty, substandard conditions. Ambivalent doctors. Abuse. Huge public dissatisfaction.
4) The Republicans will realize that "I told you so" won't solve anything, so they reluctantly have to help prop up this big, confusing, disorganized, bloated, bureaucratic mess of a health care system.
5) Conditions will deteriorate as equipment can't be maintained due to lack of funds. Presidential candidates will proclaim their resolve to "Reform Health Care!"
6) Taxes will have to be raised to shore up the bankrupt health care system. Every year, there will be scares about lack of vaccines against potentially dangerous flues. Private health care companies will spring up, and anyone who can afford them will abandon the public health care cesspool.
7) The Socialist nightmare health care system will continue to hemorrage money. Taxes will be raised again. Now Democrats have an even stronger stranglehold on voters, especially those with children, because they have less discretionary income with which to use on decent health care. Many will reluctantly vote Democratic because now, with higher taxes, they can no longer afford decent care.
8) The Socialized health care system will continue to degrade. Congressmen and Senators, anxious to sanctimoniously mug for the cameras will talk pointless platitudes about reforming health care. Yadda, yadda, yadda.
9) Finally, a Republican presidential candidate will promise to abolish the Socialist nightmare, and reduce taxes so people can buy normal health insurance. He is elected by a landslide.
That's how it's all going to play out. Why don't we just skip the obvious, and reject it? We know exactly what's going to happen.
Hillary knows it's going to be a nightmare. However, her main concern is getting elected and keeping Democrats in power. She knows that the more money the government takes from the people, the weaker they become, until eventually they don't dare oppose the all-powerful government.

There are countries where socialized medicine is working. Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Germany, and many more countries have a successful plan. Something needs to be done for places like Florida, where I worked for Americorps and found that many people literally died because of inability to get health care. There, to qualify for medicaid one must have 0 income. To pay for it, their families would do without food, so they do without medical care. Hospitals are only required to stabilize patients, and then turn them out. I personally know of cases where this happened. This is the richest country, but ranks 37th in health that is mostly due to people's lack of access. We need to address this problem because it is morally the right thing to do. Whether it is Hillary or another candidate, I will place this item as a priority for my vote even though I have good insurance coverage because others do not.

Another person who ran for office promised to restore integrity to the government and now almost 8 years later, were still waiting and we never will recover from his administrations lies. As far as Insurance, the companies don't seem to be trying to control their policy prices, they have to make their profit first. Maybe their should be some control!

To my knowledge, she has never really spoken in depth about what kind of plan she wants us to fund for those needing help with health care costs. This much I do know, Americans will never buy into anything with the word "Socialized" attached to it by the government so, I doubt very much that she has even mentioned the word!

I guess so.
Seeing as she does not have nor has ever mentioned a Socialized Medicine Plan.
The same way President Bush did not call The Patriot Act, "A Prelude to Fascism."

You are absolutely correct. There are too many hairy legged feminists out there who simply want to have a liberal woman in the Whitehouse. They don't care what she stands for. Scary, huh?

With 16% of the population without healthcare and the US with third world levels of infant mortality she's appealing to the middle class and those that would like to bring back this disappearing sector of the US population.
