Of course. One huge difference between liberals and conservatives is that liberals believe govt. should serve the people and conservatives believe govt. should rule the people. Conservatives would never favor democracy over a monarchy. Al Qaeda is a typical group of conservatives that proves this point.

well seeing as less then 20% of the americans at the time fought in the revolution. Their where many that fought on the side of the monarchy also. So their would of been both sides of the isle on the issue. But seeing as most liberals are always against war, it would seem that you answer to the question would be no.

Think about it....none of them served in the military, they have a problem with opposition, and they support endless wars with no victory plan...like Iraq.
