thank you
all of you -- thanks

very insightful

dear phooz, i feel your pain as i read your link regarding the "parvo' discussion and this "stamplady" person is pretty whacky, as she is overly defensive. please forgive, or at least ignore her (if you can find it in your heart). it is obviously her problem not yours, and we all need forgiveness, especially if we are mentally ill (as her post show signs) as we can not control ourselves.

I agree with the statement of someone being a mirror, but I feel it must be elaborated upon. Hating someone is a product of a failure we see in ourselves projecting from someone else, or a reminder of a perceived weakness. For instance, I hate bullies, and in middle school, I used to purposely pick fights with those I thought were bullies to "teach them a lesson." Why? Because in elementary school, I was bullied, and thought myself weak and insignificant. The urge to fight eventually passed, but even to this day, I feel the incredible urge to defend the "little guy." As a former fat man, I still feel revulsion looking at those that are heavy. I often have to step back and remind myself the reason for those feelings, and that they aren't rational.

well right now, it's not a person I actually know....rather a person who stays on a message board that I talk about pets on. I state facts about a situation and this person does whatever she can to defend the place where she volunteers. She is ignorant to any facts and not willing to accept any responsibility. You can check out the thread for yourself...I will post in the source...but the frustration level has reached an all time high. Blood pressure rises, etc. I am known as phooz, and she is known as stamplady. The conversation has to do with a local shelter who adopted a dog out to us that had parvo. With warnings and other issues with the shelter there is quite a bit being done, none which I have disclosed to her. I have just stated facts....you can see why she gets on my nerves....I can't stand the lady, I want to slap some sense into her. The conversation starts with...."Have you ever sat and wondered....? Stamplady comes in with "frustrated" among some other comments....

I only hate one person. Hate is a very strong word. I hate my ex. He beat me & threatened me & the lives of my friends & family. I let my house (which I was paying for) go into foreclosure just to get rid of him. Hopefully he's still far away from me which is what the court ordered.

mostly because she managed to fool me into thinking she was a nice person and I trusted her

then she showed her true colors and made a fool of me

it's embarrassing to have been so gullible

I hate anyone who lies. Most people hate people they dont know because they are closed minded.
